Infrared Sauna Benefits
Infrared saunas are different to traditional hot saunas in that they heat the body directly (conversion). The result, a more efficient way of releasing toxins. Unlike traditional saunas, which heat the air (convection) to a very high level to warm the body & skin (conduction), infrared temperatures are more gentle and lower, thus allowing you to stay in your session longer maximising the benefits.
A typical infrared sauna session can last between 20-45 minutes, with temperatures ranging from approximately 50-70c, and can be safely repeated once or twice daily. After an infrared sauna session you leave feeling revitalised and not depleted.
The different heat waves of the Infrared Spectrum:
Near - Heats the epidermis layer of skin, creating sweat that promotes healing, skin purification, cell health, immunity, pain relief and revitalisation.
Mid - Penetrates deeper into the body’s soft tissue increasing circulation, releasing oxygen to injured areas, kind of like a cardio workout, it can also help pain relief and weight loss.
Far - Penetrates at a cellular level where there are many toxins. Aids in blood pressure reduction, allows fat cells to expel toxins for the greatest levels of detoxification.
